Nuts and Bolts for all Practitioners Pre-Conference Workshop:

This year our Institute includes our tenth “Nuts and Bolts for All Practitioners” pre-institute session for new facilitators, for those setting up fairly new programs in their institution, and for those experienced facilitators interested in the “nuts and bolts” of the ISW. If you are new to the ISW or would like to share ideas with those who are just starting, please consider arriving early for this Nuts & Bolts session. Bring your questions, your curiosity, your ideas and your experiences.

Who are the facilitators?

As in past years, all participants serve as resources in this community-building institute by providing ideas and suggestions for each other within a variety of group activities. Jan Johnson and Alice Macpherson will serve as the "process facilitators" for the Institute and will be working with a Planning Committee comprised of several individuals who have participated in at least 2 other ISW Fall Institutes. Several past participants will serve as session facilitators during the ISW Fall Institute

Where you’ll be

The ISW Fall Institute will be at the Loon Lake Lodge and Retreat Centre in Maple Ridge, BC, in the Fraser Valley an hour’s drive east of Vancouver on Highway #1, and a hour's drive from both the Abbotsford International Airport and the Aldergrove/Lynden US border crossing. Loon Lake Lodge is located in the Malcolm Knapp Research forest, with walking trails, a lake, and areas to explore and relax. We will be living and learning together in a relaxed atmosphere of good humour and fun. Additional information about the setting and logistics will be sent to individuals upon receipt of their email registration.
