Instructional Skills Workshop (ISW) at Innopolis University is a 24 hours 4 days training for both new and experienced educators as well as all those involved in teaching. The workshop includes an overview and analysis of class preparation and delivery techniques supported by at least three mini-lessons by trainees. These mini-lessons receive directed feedback and are taped and reviewed in order to develop the trainees’ methods based upon their own goals for development for instruction.
The ISW is conducted at Innopolis University on a regular basis as part of teaching assistants and faculty professional development. All IU ISW facilitators are themselves practicing instructors for other classes in Innopolis University.
